Problems
① The top menu bar contained an overwhelming number of dropdown menus, causing confusion for users regarding which option to select.
② The absence of a search bar, with only a search icon on the top menu bar, resulted in unintuitive navigation. Users frequently found its functionality unclear.
③ The lack of interactive elements made it tedious for users to sift through the information, leading to potential abandonment of the search for desired information.
④ Overload of plain text, caused users to feel bored and frustrated, and increased the likelihood of them abandoning their search for desired information.
⑤ Despite the target demographic primarily consisting of young individuals in their 20s and 30s, the existing design of the website was perceived as antiquated and uninspiring by its users.

① Revised the dropdown menu categorizations, emphasizing the representative options on the main menu while condensing the remaining selections into dropdown menus.
② Implemented a prominently visible search bar to allow users direct access to desired information, resulting in a more intuitive user experience.
③ Placed buttons and CTA buttons as interactive elements to enhance user navigation, facilitating clearer pathways to the desired information sections.
④ Crafted the layout to incorporate more images, enhancing visual appeal and captivating user attention. It reduces the reliance on dense textual content, ensuring a more engaging.
⑤ Redesigned aimed to cultivate a sense of simplicity and sophistication, harmonizing seamlessly with the ethos of a student service department within an academic institution.
